Hier mal meine Erfahrungen zu dem Thema Grundstuecksgroesse fuer alle, die darueber nachdenken sich im Ausland ein Grundstueck zu kaufen. Meine Erfahrung bezieht sich auf Paraguay und Costa Rica, ich gehe davon aus, dass die Themen vor allem in tropischen und subtropischen Zonen weltweit identisch sind.
Ein fataler Fehler, den viele begehen ist der Verlockung nach einem grossen Grundstueck nachzugeben. Als erstes sollte man sich im klaren darueber sein, warum man ueberhaupt Land kauft, zur Eigennutzung, als Kapitalanlage, um eine Gemeinschaft aufzubauen oder warum auch immer.
Thema Eigennutzung
Wir leben aktuell auf 2.500 m2, die wir mit Muehe und Not im Griff haben. Man kann sich nicht vorstellen, was fuer ein enormes Pfanzenwachstum in solchen Regionen vorherrscht. Die Flaeche reicht fuer Eigenversorgung absolut aus. Wir haben genug Platz fuer ausreichend Obstbaeume, Hochbeete und genuegend Enten oder Huehner fuer Eier, die unseren Bedarf locker abdecken.
Alles darueber hinaus bedarf sehr viel Zeit und Maschinen, falls das Gelaende dies ueberhaupt zulaesst. Ab 1 Hektar ist man meiner Meinung nach auf fremde Hilfe angewiesen, die natuerlich auch bezahlt werden moechte, was einen entsprechenden Kostenfaktor aufbaut, von sozialen Verpflichtungen mal ganz zu schweigen. Alles, was ueber den Eigenbedarf hiausgeht laesst sich fast nicht verkaufen. Hier kann ich je nach Saison fast alles fuer ein paar Cent am Strassenrand oder auf lokalen Maerkten kaufen, warum sollte ich da mit Farmern konkurrieren, die es ohnehin schon schwer genug haben?
